Our mission is to enrich the experiences of our students, parents and teachers. We will support and speak on behalf of our children. We will contribute to needed resources and programs to the school, teachers and students. We encourage parent involvement.

Join the PTA

Membership is only $20 per person. We encourage both parents to join. Over half of each $20 membership goes directly to Hamilton School.

Donations (beyond the membership fee) are welcome. 100% of your donation goes to Hamilton School.

Interested in joining the PTA? Please download and fill out the attached form and return it to the office:

PTA Membership / Donation – Spanish

Note: Joining the PTA does not obligate you to attend PTA meetings or vote on PTA issues (although we encourage you to do both and PTA members can vote at meetings).

PTA meetings are held every other month. See the list of events below for dates and times. All PTA meeting are held in the school library. All parents are invited to attend the meetings, and PTA membership is not required to attend. Childcare is provided for each meeting.

Do I have to attend the PTA Meetings?
No, but we highly encourage you to! Coming to the meetings gives you the opportunity to meet other parents, teachers and staff as well as hear from guest speakers who will speak about issues relevant to your children’s education, parenting and the school. PTA meetings are 1hr every other month and childcare is provided, please check eNews for time and location. Can’t join in person? We always have a zoom link available as well.

What does the $20 membership fee go towards?

The bulk of your fee goes directly back into our school for your children. Here are just a few of the things the PTA pays for:

  • Classroom supplies for every teacher
  • All field trips
  • Emergency preparedness supplies
  • Teacher appreciation events
  • Yearbooks
  • Major school events (i.e. Harvest Festival, Multicultural Events, Welcome Back BBQ, Science Night etc)
  • Book Fairs
  • Campus beautification
  • And MORE

How else can I support the PTA?

One of the biggest ways you can support the PTA is by volunteering your time to support and enrich the education of all students.

If you are interested in volunteering or chairing an event please contact Vanessa Persek at [email protected]

Each year parents and staff volunteer their free time to help support and enrich the education of all students through service to the Hamilton PTA.
