The mural depicts 5th grade Common Core History Standards from Native American History and the Revolutionary War, to Independence. Students and artists worked on the mural for months looking through their Social Studies books to find inspiration to represent these areas. Once they found the pictures students drew and transferred them onto the mural and painted them. The artists monitored and did finish work to complete the mural.
